Spiced Pear Green Smoothie (gluten-free, refined sugar-free)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced or chopped pear (about 2 pears worth)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup oats (certified gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chia seed (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup cubed ice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend till smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass and devour!

Recipe Notes

*I would recommend starting with less spices, so you can add more if the smoothie isn't spiced enough.
