These Pumpkin Banana Muffins are a great healthy Fall breakfast<\/strong>! They’re mostly sweetened with banana, and made with less butter, with pumpkin puree<\/strong> instead. They’re a fluffy, banana-filled, easy breakfast to bake that kids and adults will love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yikes! That’s a hard question to answer. I love love love banana in baked goods. But pumpkin?! So good too. Especially with pumpkin spice. They both are healthy additions to any baked goods too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what if you put them together?!<\/strong> Then you get these healthy and fluffy Pumpkin Banana Muffins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These muffins are SO good! They’re nice and fluffy with minimal sugar and less butter.<\/strong> They have a strong banana flavor with a hint of spices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This recipe is pretty flexible too, so they can be made gluten-free and dairy-free too. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, let’s chat about banana.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The most important part about these muffins is using brown, overripe bananas<\/strong>. The more brown they are, the more sweet the muffins<\/em> will be!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have bananas that aren’t quite ripe enough yet?<\/strong> Put them in a brown paper bag for a few days. It’s not a super quick fix. But, it’s my favorite way to speed up the process just a bit, with good results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other than banana, these Pumpkin Banana Muffins are sweetened with only 1\/4 cup of brown sugar.<\/strong> If you prefer baked goods that are more naturally sweetened, then these are the muffins for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would not recommend using any other sugar in place of the brown sugar<\/strong>, or these muffins will not be sweet enough. Unless you are used to food tasting naturally sweetened<\/em>, then you could use coconut sugar instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
