Do you ever eat something and think, “Wow, this food just feels like home. If I were a food, I would be this!”<\/em> …No? I’m the only one? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n The warm, spicy flavors that are comforting and yet surprising; I like to think I’m kind of like that. I’m an old soul that’s very down-to-earth, but I can also be unpredictable. Maybe some of you can relate to me.<\/p>\n Maybe, some of you think I’m a little crazy for comparing myself to Chai-spices… I digress.<\/p>\n I love Chai. When Fall comes around, I’m looking forward to Chai EVERYTHING.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Oh yes, pumpkin spice has a special place in my heart too, but anything Chai-spiced (or anything with double the amount of cinnamon as normal) and I’m in!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It’s a super easy breakfast or snack that you can make homemade<\/em> for a lot cheaper<\/em> than buying it at the store. You can also make whatever flavor you’d like.<\/p>\n Let me know if you see a Chai-Spiced Granola anywhere – cause I sure haven’t. I absolutely love that I can use Chai spices in granola; it’s like taking a traditional, classic granola recipe and adding a fun twist.<\/p>\n Granola is such a healthy breakfast, snack or yogurt topping too.<\/strong> This Chai-Spiced Granola is filled with:<\/p>\n Ready for a challenge?<\/strong><\/p>\n Next time you’re at the grocery store look at the back of a bag of granola and see what the ingredients are.<\/strong> Can you pronounce everything? Do you know what everything is? Just food for thought.<\/p>\n We all know that there are weird things in our food that are used to preserve it, that’s how food is mass produced today. For me, it’s not practical to cut that out of my life entirely, so instead I make homemade things when I can<\/strong><\/em> and use more natural ingredients then too.
